Year round Preschool/Childcare teaches"Character Counts"

Responsibility, respect, caring and honesty - The National YMCA's program of "Character Counts" is incorporated into the Yolo County YMCA childcare program. The program supports intellectual development that reinforces the child's educational needs while fostering acceptable social skills and encouraging self-esteem and confidence. Interaction with other children teaches them to not fear taking risks, making commitments, becoming involved and being responsible.
